Carmen Shacket

Shirt/jacket made from hand-loomed artisan fabric in Mexico.

The soft fabric is woven using a traditional loom by indigenous artisans in Chiapas using 100% cotton threads making it completely biodegradable.

Carmen is the name of our workshop leader in Mexico City. The colours of this particular weave remind us of her unwavering positivity and passion. We’ve met very few souls as hardworking  and strong as Carmen yet with such a bright and calming persona.

The shacket is oversized with a belt to tie in at the waist. We love to pair it with the matching trousers or equally with our cactus leather trousers.

The shacket is lined in cotton for comfort and a flash of colour from the inside.

Featuring beautiful mother or pearl buttons.

Model is a size 8 and wears a size S/M.

Care instructions:

The Loom fabric is woven and delicate. We suggest to only hand-wash inside out in cold water, with mild detergent and hang dry naturally (never use a hot dryer) to prevent shrinkage and preserve the colour and softness of the fabric.
