Popin x Tea and Tequila Pop-up

On Friday 5th - Sunday 7th December 2025, we held a very special pop-up at Popin Deli in Battersea. Our Christmas Jewellery Grotto was designed as a one-stop shop, where you could pick up delicious treats as Secret Santa or stocking fillers from Popin, and the ‘main’ present for under the tree from us.

Our pieces sat right at the heart of the deli, surrounded by Popin’s delicacies, from truffle ravioli to Perello olives. We used garden slabs to display the jewellery - very DIY, but if we do say so ourselves, it looked gorgeous and worked perfectly in the space.

Some of the standout pulls from the weekend were the Rosita Tea Lattes - a milky, creamy blend with a subtle hint of rose - which were a huge hit (except perhaps with those less keen on a floral palette, judging by the suspiciously bright pink liquid spotted by the pavement drain at one point), and the banana bread kindly made by Popin. Not a single bad word was said about the banana bread - although, we’re all a bit sick of it now after eating so much. We also designed a bright pink gift bag featuring our new sun logo (we are living through our Mexico Team's climate currently eek) and made sure every piece was gift wrapped, ready to slot straight under the tree.

On the first weekend of December, it came as no surprise that Saturday was our busiest day. Not quite Oxford Street levels of chaos, but not far off. Our most popular pieces were the Pearl Star Necklace - perfect for Christmas and New Year - and of course the Rainbow Necklace, a cult favourite all year round.

These moments are so special to us, as we get to meet our lovely customers in real life. It’s such a treat and always feels like a total pinch-me moment. Our CommuniTea really is at the core of everything we do. One girl even exclaimed, ‘you have the best job in the world’ - which was so heart-warming to hear. Of course we agree, even if our bank accounts might gently disagree thanks to a shared weakness for jewellery.
